Me the coach...
I’m Aaron, a movement coach with a unique blend of expertise in both performance and training. With over a decade of experience as a professional dancer, performing and touring at the highest levels worldwide, I bring a deep understanding of the body’s potential to my coaching. My approach is all about unlocking your full movement capacity through a combination of strength, mobility, and coordination training, while keeping things fun and engaging.
What sets me apart is my ability to merge technical skill with creative exploration. I specialise in fine-tuning movement patterns to not only improve strength but also enhance the body’s fluidity and freedom. My training philosophy is rooted in the belief that a strong, healthy body is the key to lifelong movement, whether you’re aiming to break records, compete, or simply stay active and injury-free.
With years of experience working with athletes, dancers, and everyday movers alike, I focus on personalising each session to help clients discover what works for their bodies. My expertise in movement and body mechanics allows me to guide you through either rehabilitation or building sustainable strength, improving performance, and preventing injury.
I connect strength training with movement play, making me an ideal coach for anyone looking to maximise their physical potential in a safe and dynamic way. My passion for movement is contagious, and I’m dedicated to creating a community of people who thrive in both strength and freedom to move in new, exciting ways.
I’ve had the privilege of working as a dancer, rehearsal director, assistant, and teacher in both the UK and internationally for companies including Scottish Ballet, Norrdans, English National Ballet, New Adventures, and Phoenix Dance Theatre, and as a performer, I’m part of two works that make up the GCSE Dance syllabus.
My work centres around helping individuals begin or return to movement, refine specific skills such as handstands, microbatics, and rolling, and enhance overall performance through thoughtful, progressive practice. With a strong emphasis on injury prevention and joint-specific rehabilitation, I work to build resilient, adaptable bodies and never stop problem solving.
We’re never done challenging what’s possible 🙂
Aaron is highly experienced within his field of movement, looking to apply it to those within strength sports. His grasp of the human body, how it moves, and how that can potentially apply to improve efficiency in athletes is something missing within all absolute strength sports.
I highly recommend that any coach, looking towards improving the performance and control of their athletes without adding in added stress to their athletes’ program, seriously considers getting in contact with Aaron to see how he can help them.
“Aaron's vision is something I've been looking for for a number of years.”
